TNA Knockout Awesome Kong Signing With WWE
Former TNA Knockout, Awesome Kong was asked to resolve her legal issues in Florida by WWE officials before heading to the company, reports ProWrestling.net.
Kong, real name Kia Stevens, was arrested on December 22nd for driving with a suspended license. The former Knockouts Champion no longer lives in Florida but handed herself in to police at Hillsborough County, FL in order to clear the situation up and begin her new career.
The article also notes that Kong is likely to bypass the developmental system, but could spend a little bit of time there to work off ring rust. The fans are waiting for Awesome Kong and we wish she will have a long run in WWE.
